Maus Family Funeral Home

In the Company of Grief
A grief support group for adults held from 6:30-8:00 PM on the first Monday of every month at the Douglas County Mental Health Center in Tuscola.  Participants encourage and support one another through the losses of life.  The group is sponsored by Maus Family Funeral Home and is facilitated by a trained counselor.  We live in community, we grieve in community, and we heal in community.  For more information and a brochure for yourself or to share with someone you care about, please contact us at the funeral home.

Memory Preservation Get Togethers
Held from 6:30-8:00 PM on the first Thursday of January, April, July, and October at the funeral home, these get togethers give you an opportunity to share stories, and cherish memories, while working with photographs that have captured those special moments that mean so much.  At the time of a funeral, many families gather photos together.  Why not take some time afterwards to preserve them while you've got them out?  For more information and a brochure for yourself or to share with someone you care about, please contact us at the funeral home.

Holiday Remembrance Service
Held every year in early December, this moving and meaningful program incorporates several area ministers and the funeral home staff as we come together to remember our loved ones who have gone on before us.  This program is open to the community for anyone who has lost a loved one at anytime and helps those who attend to look back on special memories, discover what their loss means to them during the holidays, and get some insight on how to move forward into the future.
